Kafue National Park Tour

Kafue National Park is the oldest and largest of Zambia’s national parks and the wildlife in this park is quite diverse. It is home to rare antelopes such as the blue and yellow backed duicker, the roan, sable and hartebeest and many more. For a those eager to see leopards, this parks has been said to be one of the best places for a view of these predators, night drives as well as boat cruises provide a great opportunity for this.

The wild dog which is quite rare to find is most parks of Africa can be found in packs in various parts of the Kafue National park. Also not to miss are unusual sightings of pangolin, bushpig, spring hare, monitor lizards, aardvark, numerous mongoose spp, civet, serval, caracal, wild cat, bush baby, grysbok, oribi, roan, honey badger, otters, sitatunga... the list goes on.

The Kafue National Park is easily accessed from both Lusaka and Livingstone with a 2-3 hour drive although many prefer to fly in with charter flights. Accommodation at the park varies from tented camps, tented chalets as well as luxurious safari lodges

Day 1 - 2

Experience Kafue

Start off heading to the Kafue National Park by road. The parks is 2-3 hrs away from Livingstone and Lusaka

Arrival and transfer to the the lodge. The Kafue National park has a number of lodges to choose from including The Mukambi Safari Lodge, Kaingu Safari lodge,the Mayukuyuku Bush Camp and many more!
