The Five Parks Experience

The tour covers Zambia's four best national parks - The South Luangwa, Kafue, the Lower Zambezi and the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park (Livingstone.) The fifth park is the Chobe National Park in Botswana.

Discover the unspoilt wilderness of the Luangwa River region of Zambia.Experience the second National Park in Africa the Kafue National Park - housing 55 different species of animals.Visit the Lower Zambezi National Park a protected park from mass tourism and remains one of the few wilderness areas left in Africa. Take a drive through one of UNESCO Heritage sites, the Mosi-oa-Tunya National park home to the Victoria Falls. The park protects 5 white rhino (the only remaining rhino in Zambia), as well as various antelope, buffalo, giraffe and many more. Lastly cross over to Bostwana for a tour of the Chobe National Park which has one of the largest concentrations of game in Africa, widely known for the large elephant population estimated around 50 000.

Day 1 - 2

The Lower Zambezi National Park

·         Meet and greet at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport / pick up from the hotel  in Lusaka.

·         Start off to the Lower Zambezi National Park by road – 2hrs 30min drive

-          Accommodation will be at the Kanyemba Lodge on full board – 2nights. Check in and relax

·         The opportunities to get close to game in the Lower Zambezi wandering in and out of the Zambezi channels are spectacular

·         Carved out of the African bush, Kanyemba is a wonderful getaway in the Lower Zambezi.         

Day 3 - 4

The South Luangwa National Park

·         Check out from Kanyemba Lodge and transfer to the airport in Lusaka for a flight to Mfuwe - South Luangwa National Park 

·         Meet and greet at the Mfuwe Airport and transfer to the lodge

·         Accommodation will be at any of the following lodges the Wildlife Camp, Chichele & Puku or the Sussi & Chuma lodges among others - full board, 2nights. (client free to choose the preferred lodge) in Mfuwe. 

·         Enjoy activities as indicated.

Day 5 - 6

The Kafue National Park

·         Transfer to Mfuwe Airport back to Lusaka

·         Upon arrival the tour continues to Kafue National Park, the oldest and largest National Park in Zambia with great diversity of wildlife - Only 2hrs 30min drive from Lusaka City.

·         Accommodation at any one of the lodges in Kafue namely, Mukambi Safari Lodge, Mayukuyuku Camp, Kaingu Safari Lodge among others – 2nights on full board 

·         Enjoy highlights as indicated.

Day 7 - 8

The Mosi oa Tunya National Park

·         Check out from Kafue National park, transfer to the Airport in Lusaka.

·         Flight to Livingstone – 1hrs 10min

·         Meet and greet at the Livingstone Airport and transfer to the lodge.

-          Livingstone has a number of lodges and reputable hotels as well as camping and self catering accommodation. Check in and relax – 2nights on bed and breakfast.

·         Activities as indicated.

Day 9 - 10

The Chobe National Park - Botswana

·         Early morning transfer to Botswana via Kazungula Boarder post, stamp passports, 2 minutes ride on the speed boat crossing the Zambezi river, get on the 4 x4 truck for Botswana boarder, stamp passports.

·         Transfer to Chobe Marina safari lodge, check in - 2nights on full board

·         Enjoy activities as highlighted.

 

Day 11 - 12

The Victoria Falls

·         Early morning transfer back to Livingstone for one more night.

·         Choose activities among the optional activities. (own cost)

·         Following morning, transfer to the airport for a flight to Lusaka – arrival in time for International Flight.

  • Luangwa has a high population of predators, huge buffalo herds and endemic Cookson’s wildebeest which combine to give you a real wilderness experience.
