Lusaka Tour

Lusaka has plenty of sights that highlight the history and culture of the city. The National Museum allows any visitor a feel of Zambia's fascinating cultural history with an inclusion of paintings and sculptures. The Sunday Market at the Arcades Shopping Centre is one of the best places for souvenirs as it offers the best local wares and wonders.

A drive to the outskirts of the city takes you to the Lusaka National Park where you can see several species of antelope.

On the southern side of Town you’ll find the Lilayi Private Game Reserve and Elephant orphanage. Further along is the Munda Wanga Environmental Park with stunning botanical gardens and a small zoo. Here rescued wild animals are rehabilitated for reintroduction into the wild, including lions and cheetahs. It also has a relaxing pool and braai area.

Lusaka is the capital and largest city of Zambia, it is the centre of both commerce and government in Zambia.The city lies at the junction of the main highways to the north, east, south and west, and at an altitude of 1300 metres above sea level.

There are air links to most of the major tourist destinations in Zambia from the main airport, the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport.

Road transfers are another great alternative, the rehabilitation and construction of most of the roads around the country has made a road trip an enjoyable experience.

Full Day Excursion

Meet and greet at the Kenneth Kaunda Airport  and transfer to the Hotel. Accommodation will be in any one of the following hotels / visitors's hotel of choice.

* Protea Hotel Lusaka - Located in Lusaka, Protea Hotel Lusaka is near the airport and close to National Assembly of Zambia, Lusaka National Museum, and Freedom Statue. The hotel is also located right behind one of the city’s main shopping malls, the Arcades shopping centre and also

* Southern Sun Hotel (Holiday Inn) few kilometres away from the Manda Hill shopping centre. Other area points of interest include Independence Stadium

* The Courtyard Hotel - First Class Modern Hotel. The Courtyard is in the centre of the city and within walking distance of Lusaka's best shopping and entertainment centre, the Arcade. It is a 25 minute drive to the airport.
